Yet it was the hosts who could have snatched all three points when, in the final minute of stoppage time, striker Richard Pacquette was given the opportunity to go one-on-one with Morris, but failed to control the ball properly allowing the Basingstoke keeper to deny him what would have been the match-winner. The two teams meet again at The Camrose on Saturday.
