Welling thrash sorry Magpies Maidenhead United FC fell to a crushing 4-0 defeat against Welling United at York Road last night. The Magpies were well beaten by their dominant visitors and ended the game with just 10 men after striker Alex Wall was sent off in the second half. Luis Cumbers gave Welling the lead on 27 minutes and they doubled their advantage three minutes into the second half when John Scarborough put through his own net. Cumbers got his second soon after and, after Wall had been dismissed, Harry Baker completed a comfortable evening's work for the visitors. United remain 16th in the Blue Square South.
