U's Ready For Another Irn-Bru Cup Show, Eventually!

Sutton United's Irn-Bru Cup adventure took a turn today - their flight was delayed for more than three hours!

The U's entered the competition for the first time this season and have a trip to Dublin this weekend to play Bohemians.

And their weekend started in the worst way possible when their flight from Gatwick was delayed, leaving them stranded for more than three hours.

It's a much shorter trip than the 425-mile journey they made to Aidrieonians for the last round.

Paul Doswell's men will be backed by a strong travelling contingent of fans as they look to progress to the fourth round of the competition.

The competition already features teams from Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland and Ireland. Two English teams - Boreham Wood and Sutton - were invited for the first time this campaign.
