Kettering Town v AFC Fylde - National League North
They do say you can tell a good side when they win while not playing well.
You can also tell a really good side when they win while playing with ten men for most of the match.
The Coasters’ plucky performance against Southport showed they have resilience as well as style.
They will need to dig deep at Kettering Town, who have just come off the back of a wonderful win at much fancied Gloucester City.
But AFC Fylde aren’t frightened of a tough looking away trip. They scored four at Guiseley on the opening day, and did the same at Hereford last weekend.
Paul Cox, though, is a manager to be feared and like counterpart Jim Bentley has a National League promotion to his name.

Oxford City v Maidstone United - National League South
For two sides that stand unbeaten, there may actually be a little frustration that they haven’t got even more points on the board.
Fans of second place Maidstone United know things could be perfect, dropping their first points on Monday - perhaps undeservedly - at Hampton & RB.
Oxford City were putting on a show as they battered Bath City, but their supporters will wonder how they only drew their first three.
They are really good at home - Oxford only losing once last season, much improved from their eight losses in 2019-20.
Maidstone have already won away at Chelmsford City, but failed to win five of their seven games on the road last term before the season’s early end.
Rivals for the top seven last term, it seems nothing much has changed.
