Dover Athletic vs King’s Lynn Town
Just when both of these thought they had little to look forward to, something special happened.
The Whites incredible performance at Wrexham sent shockwaves through football last weekend, even if already-down Dover fell just short.
King’s Lynn fans may have been forgiven for thinking the writing was on the wall but a win over Aldershot and then on Saturday against FC Halifax have given Tommy Widdrington’s men genuine hope.
They could reduce the gap to just four points on Saturday while the Shots - the team dragged into trouble - host Eastleigh now nervously looking over their shoulders.

Southend United vs Notts County
County manager Ian Burchnall says his club have decent fixtures left to try to secure their play-off place - but this isn’t one of them.
Southend have won six from eight at home even if their late surge ultimately didn’t turn into a push for the top seven.
Come away from this with three points, and get through the next game at in-form Torquay, and the Magpies will be nearly there.
Southend may have too much to do to join them but anyone on their sun loungers after a disappointing defeat to Yeovil Town last time out need to listen to manager Kevin Maher.
“Next year I know what end of the table we’ve got to be at,” he said. “If the players want to be part of that then they need to show it in the games we have left.”

Chesterfield vs Grimsby Town
It was a move perhaps designed to ease the pressure on his players, but Paul Cook declared the title race over last weekend.
Now the Spireites are aiming to secure a top three finish, thus avoiding the play-off Eliminators and securing home semi-final advantage.
One win in five shows they have work to do but Cook says his players are putting in more than they are getting back with results.
This could even be a possible play-off dress rehearsal.
Grimsby Town have won five of their last eight, and three from five away from Blundell Park as they have managed to shoe-horn their way back into the pack.
But the race to finish in the top seven is so high-pressured, any defeat is likely to nudge you out of a promotion spot.
Just behind them are Boreham Wood, with Dagenham, Bromley and back-in-form Torquay United eying up their place.
The sides last met in September - Kabongo Tshimanga’s winner sending the visiting Chesterfield fans home happy. Who will be celebrating this time?
One to watch: Alex Whittle (Chesterfield)
