Unibet's Vanarama National League Matchday 27 Preview

By Sam Elliott

It’s the title race you just can’t keep your eyes off - and it’s only just getting going.

Just six points separates the top nine and we’ve had more new leaders over the past seven weeks than we know what to do with!

It’s quickly become apparent that every matchday is going to be crucial - so what has Saturday got in store for us?

All your odds across the Vanarama National League are available at Unibet. 18+ begambleaware.org

Bromley vs Notts County

After inadvertently busting a few coupons with dropped points at Wealdstone in midweek, Notts County have a point to prove.

But anyone discounting Bromley from the championship tussle needs to study what’s going on down at Hayes Lane, where they are so impressive.

The fourth place Ravens are the division’s best home side - winning nine already and taking 29 points.

County need to return to the capital for the second time in four days and get back to their ruthless best.

Barnet vs Stockport County

Dave Challinor has made things perfectly clear - he is not interested in talking titles.

A quiet approach is what’s needed, he feels, but just like their fans, it’s becoming hard to keep them quiet.

Since arriving he has transformed Stockport County from a side struggling to shoehorn themselves in the top seven to one sitting top of the table.

It’s six wins in a row thanks to victory over Maidenhead United on Tuesday night. Catch us if you can, their supporters are thinking.

But Barnet are better this season under Dean Brennan even if they will have to be a lot better than their last game, a 4-1 home defeat to Chesterfield.

Unibet's big bet:
Full time Stockport County - total goals under 4.5

Dagenham & Redbridge vs FC Halifax Town

No side have scored more than the Daggers this season - and things are really clicking into gear.

They may still sit seventh but five wins from seven have catapulted them back into the title race.

Halifax fans’ will feel their championship charge needs a kick - even if two back-to-back 1-0 defeats shows they aren’t too far away.

Daggers are celebrating diversity this weekend, and with extra fans expected another gutsy home win could earn them some more followers.

Only relentless Stockport have left East London with anything to show for their efforts the last five matches.

Pete Wild will be happy for people to draw negative conclusions about his Halifax team’s title chances after their recent indifferent displays.

But the Shaymen are still just a point off top spot - so forget about them at your peril!

It should be another fantastic weekend of action!
