Saturday was something special, even by Vanarama National League standards.

Across the country some outstanding games were played. The good news? There’s a full programme coming your way on Tuesday night!

So who’s got the legs to put on another show? Unibet takes a little look at what could be three corkers.

Scunthorpe United vs Gateshead

It’s of course a little premature to label any meeting down the bottom as really big, but you get the feeling the temperature is cranking up.

Both clubs are in the bottom four and with no side looking like they will be cast adrift like in years before, teams can’t afford to drag their heels in the hunt for wins and consistency.

Scunthorpe’s loss at Southend United brought to an end an undefeated six game league run. They may have only won one of them, but it was progress - and now they need a reaction.

Gateshead are back in the bottom four and can’t afford many more off days like they had against Woking on Saturday.

Woking vs Dorking Wanderers

Less than 15 miles separate the clubs - and just a win keeps them apart in the table.

Woking and Dorking Wanderers don’t see eye-to-eye on everything, but they can’t disagree that they are both loving this season.

Everyone knows Dorking’s story, but after settling in superbly to the level you should discount them from a play-off challenge at your peril.

Woking hold one of the top seven spots after two wins in a row. They have beaten every club at home bar title challengers Notts County and Wrexham.

These two very much want to be in the mix heading into 2023.

Wealdstone vs Notts County

Magpies fans could be forgiven for all thinking the same thing heading into Tuesday night.

This is exactly the type of fixture they would usually drop points in over the past few years.

Now, with an extra days’ rest in their legs, they head to north west London big favourites to win for a sixth National League game in a row.

Notts have won four from five away from home but won’t have it all their way against Wealdstone.

The Londoners sit in the top half but the Stones do need to sort their form out and fast.

They’ve lost three in a row in the league, also exiting the FA Cup following a collapse against Boreham Wood.

At home there hasn’t been too much to cheer, the team have only scored four times since the opening day and haven’t seen a Grosvenor Vale victory since August.

Notts love a goal on their travels, scoring 16 times on the road in their last five.

It’s going to be yet another gripping night!
