By Sam Elliott

It’s now back to National League duty - and even after all the FA Cup drama, you couldn’t have forgotten we’ve got an electric promotion race we’ve got on our hands.

The sides are all plugged in and ready to spark early, the leaders Notts County hope to set the pace on Friday night by keeping their noses in front with a win over Maidstone United.

So let’s see what’s ahead on Saturday with Unibet’s pick of the three weekend games to keep an eye on with boosted odds to boot!

Chesterfield vs Bromley

FA Cup victory over village side Anstey Nomads did little to pick up Paul Cook’s mood.

The Chesterfield manager knows only National League wins will repair the damage caused by three straight league defeats.

There’s not usually a good time to get Bromley, but after their loss to Hereford - missing out a big date with Portsmouth in the process - they are facing a wounded animal.

Only goals scored is keeping Andy Woodman’s side below the Spireites and a win could take the Hayes Lane club third on Saturday night.

One to watch: Kabongo Tshimanga (Chesterfield)
Unibet Enhanced Odds: Total goals over 3.5

Aldershot vs York City

A game with significance at both ends of the table - one wants to stay above the dotted line, the other wants out of it!

Aldershot Town are in the bottom four and parted ways with Mark Molesley after their meek FA Cup surrender at National League South Chelmsford City.

Legendary Shots boss Terry Brown is holding the fort and knows a lot better is needed against a strong York City.

The Minstermen are in the top seven and the whiff of back-to-back promotions is filling the air.

They have won three of their last five National League away games - and those great trips include a 5-0 thumping of Barnet.

One to watch: Sam Sanders (York City)
Unibet Enhanced Odds: Full-time York City, both teams to score and total goals over 2.5

Boreham Wood vs Wrexham

It’s set to be a club record attendance at Meadow Park - but will the 1,000 plus Wrexham fans have a wasted trip?

This is a really big game in the season as what looks like two serious contenders go head-to-head.

Wood have pulled up trees lately, and have only lost once since mid August.

They’ve just done the league and cup double over Wealdstone but Luke Garrard knows a tougher test is around the corner.

Wrexham seem to be either deadly or living on their nerve lately - and sometimes both, as the incredible 7-5 win over Barnet shows!

But on their travels against the sides at the top, they have struggled.

Defeats to Chesterfield and Notts County show they need to be a bit stronger in certain moments, but anyone watching the documentary will have seen how much they have come on compared to this time last year.

What a weekend it’s going to be!

One to watch: Tyrone Marsh (Boreham Wood)
Unibet Enhanced Odds: Full-time draw - both teams to score
