Hereford vs Southport - National League North

A few months into the season these two clubs were looking nervously over their shoulders.

But after a painfully slow start, they have somehow navigated themselves not only away from one dreaded dotted line but above the other!

Southport enjoyed a 14 game undefeated run and although they have only won one in six, Liam Watson feels his team have what it takes to stay in the play-off places.

Hereford have won six of their last nine but also go into the weekend’s promotion battle with a defeat ringing in their ears after defeat at Curzon Ashton. Which big improver will strike on Saturday?

Dorking Wanderers vs Maidstone United - National League South

Hold on to your hats, we’ve got another storm heading our way!

Dorking - top of the National League South - welcome a Maidstone United team sitting second, just three points behind and with a game in hand. Juicy!

The Stones have won their last five, defeating Oxford City, Eastbourne, Concord Rangers, Bath City and Ebbsfleet United.

But Dorking have been simply phenomenal since they were battered at Chippenham in early December. They have won 12 of their last 13 league games and look the real deal.

But they showed they aren’t unbeatable in the one game they didn’t win, losing at home to Tonbridge earlier this month.

Dorking have kept four clean sheets in five and recovered from that shock result by putting Bath City and Chelmsford in their place.

There’s still plenty of matches to be played of course but this could be hugely significant in the title race!
