Two More Join Hawks Battle Against Relegation

Whitehawk have confirmed the signings of goalkeeper Garry Malone and midfielder Ryan Worrall.

With Seny Dieng’s loan have come to an end and the injury of Sam Chaney, boss Steve King has acted quickly to bring in two new faces in time for today`s match with Bognor Regis Town at The TerraPura Ground.

Worrall (pictured), 20, joins the Hawks after leaving league rivals Eastbourne Borough due to a lack of first-team football.

The central midfielder progressed from the Sports’ academy and became regular in the squad during the 2015/16 season, during which he also spent a loan period with Peacehaven & Telscombe when they were in the then-Ryman League.

However, the starlet found first-team opportunities limited under new boss Jamie Howell, and the popular midfielder left Priory Lane at the end of December after having a spell on loan with Bostik League Premier outfit Tonbridge Angels.

Malone, 22, also joins the Hawks in time to play in today’s important fixture.

The keeper has a wealth of experience for someone his age – with spells at numerous non-League clubs, including AFC Dunstable, Chalfont St Peter, Biggleswade Town, Wealdstone, Northwood, Biggleswade Town and Bedford Town.

He joins the Hawks after leaving Evo-Stik League South Premier outfit Dunstable Town.
