...with two new signings ahead of Saturday’s game 6-1 hammering of Lowestoft Town at Broadhurst Park.

Chris Chantler, a left-back, joins from National League side Macclesfield Town and has significant League experience.

Chantler, who can also play in midfield, started his career at Manchester City before moving to Carlisle United, where he played fifty-four games and then Scottish League side Kilmarnock, where he played twenty-six times.

He made his debut against the Trawlerboys.

Marginson has also signed central defender Tom Eckersley from league rivals Curzon Ashton.

Eckersley has been injured and not been able to get into Curzon`s team.

He has also played against FC United for AFC Fylde and the club are awaiting his release from Curzon, subject to a few final formalities being completed.
