TV Time For FA Cup Heroes As Live Selections Made

By Sam Elliott

It's great news for Vanarama National League clubs as they earn more brilliant exposure in the FA Cup second round.

Three of our sides have been selected for live coverage, earning £60,000 when the cameras arrive.

Wealdstone’s reward for beating Grimsby Town will be a live home game with Wycombe Wanderers.

ITV1 viewers will see the Stones welcome the in-form League One side on Saturday 30 November, kick-off at Grosvenor Vale is set at 11:30am.

That is one of two live games that day and at 7.15pm, Dagenham & Redbridge’s trip to AFC Wimbledon will be shown live on ITVX after Ben Strevens' team beat Crewe Alexandra last weekend.

Then on Sunday it’s a repeat of the National League Promotion final.

Solihull Moors have a score to settle against Bromley, who earned promotion to the EFL at their expense in May.

The December 1 game will start at 3.15pm and it will be broadcast live on ITV1, ITVX and STV.

Meanwhile, Tamworth's trip to Burton Albion has been chosen by the BBC for extended highlights.

There’s £75,000 on offer for the winners from the FA’s prize pot - with £20,000 earned by the defeated clubs.

The second round ties will be played between Friday 29 November and Monday 2 December, with live games selected in the days ahead.
