A brilliant double from Sam Corne made it a great National League homecoming for Maidstone United as they defeated York City 2-1.

There was a BT Sport thriller as Oldham Athletic resisted a Dorking Wanderers fightback to win 3-2 at Boundary Park.

Rohan Ince put the seal on Woking’s 2-0 home victory against Dagenham & Redbridge, pictured.

Kane Ferdinand got what turned out to be the winner as Maidenhead United edged Scunthorpe United 3-2.

Gateshead this weekend produced their own comeback after letting a lead slip last week - Adam Campbell made it 2-2 against Barnet after the Heed made a slow start.

Tristan Abrahams earned Eastleigh three big points against Wealdstone as Bromley and Altrincham both fired blanks at Hayes Lane.

Kurt Willoughby scored as Chester put Brackley Town to the sword as Scarborough Athletic and Buxton also enjoying great wins to really get their seasons going.

Three teams sit on six points in the National League South.

Craig Tanner was the Ebbsfleet United hero as they won 3-2 at Weymouth.

Dartford have begun well they saw off Cheshunt 2-1 - Pierre Fonkeu was at the double.

Elsewhere there were big wins for Oxford City and Dover Athletic as ten man Havant & Waterlooville were denied at Braintree Town, 1-1 it ended.
