On a windy Worcestershire evening, Harriers took just 8 minutes to take the lead against their struggling visitors when Elton Ngwatala`s pass was converted by Joe Ironside.
Eight minutes later, Harriers doubled their lead when skipper Ryan Croasdale was the recipient of another Ngwatala assist to net the second.
And the skilful Frenchman got on the scoresheet himself after 32 minutes, netting from an acute angle.
It was something of a nightmare opening period for Ferriby and it got even worse 5 minutes before the break when Kiddy made it 4-0 when Croasdale netted his second of the game from a corner.
As often happens when a side leads by a comfortable margin, the second period was something of a disappointment for the 1,198 crowd, but it was all about Harriers managing the game after a devastating first half performance.
The only other game in the division on Tuesday night was something of a role reversal from the one at Aggborough as the opening half between AFC Telford United and Tamworth at the New Buck`s Head was poor.
The visiting Lambs, who could have moved into the top seven with a win, created little and the home side also failed to impress.
But the second half improved considerably, especially from the home side`s perspective.
And it was they who broke the deadlock just past the hour-mark – and what a strike it was as John Marsden struck a superb 30-yard effort that dipped and swerved to beat Tamworth `keeper Shaun Rowley.
And then Elliot Newby, who earlier received a card on his birthday, albeit a yellow from the referee, doubled the Bucks lead 2 minutes from time when he pounced on a loose ball after Henry Cowans almost scored.
