Truro To Work Hard In Training This Week To Get Over Defeat

Truro City manager Lee Hodges, has expressed his disappointment that his team didn't get anything to show for their efforts against Eastbourne Borough on Saturday.

Hodges said: "I felt that performance-wise we looked solid, as we did in the previous home game.

"We saw more of the ball than them and created the better chances; I was shocked when they were able to nick the game with a goal right at the end.

"As I say, we looked the most likely side throughout and restricted them to very few opportunities.

"We know that we should have put the game to bed and we will be taking advantage of not having a midweek fixture this week by working hard in training.

"We had a very positive session last night as we prepare for a busy Bank Holiday weekend schedule".
