Truro Boss Hopes To Delay Concord's Play-Off Flight

Paul Wilkinson is hoping Truro can return to winning ways as he prepares for his Treyew Road berth.

The White Tigers put on an impressive display at play-off hopefuls Dartford last time out and came away with a point.

Now a point clear of the drop-zone, Wilkinson believes last week's result can be a catalyst for survival.

“Our performance at Dartford in the last game has given us a platform to build upon,” he told the club's website.

“We have to focus on what we do rather than concerning ourselves about what is happening elsewhere.

“If we work as hard as we did last weekend and reach the same kind of standards, then we will give ourselves every chance of getting the points needed.

“We know what we have to do," he continued. "The players put in a real shift against a Dartford side that sit amongst the leading pack and their battling qualities really impressed me.

“I am looking forward to my first home game at the helm and it will be good to meet the fans and hopefully see us return to winning ways.”
