Triple Dose Of Live Action Is Added To The BT Sport Bill

By Sam Elliott

There’s even more BT Sport action coming your way with three more Vanarama National League games now booked in.

Three more matches have been added to the broadcaster’s schedule as this already exciting season really starts to ramp up.

The first game added to the bill is a midweek trip to Scunthorpe United on November 8 as much-fancied Wrexham head to North Lincolnshire.

Unbeaten in three, the Iron have made a marked improvement of late. But Phil Parkinson’s title hopefuls have been trundling along nicely – with 15 goals in four games.

Then, on November 12, the cameras make their first trip of the new campaign to Altrincham who will hope to be showcasing their improvement.

After a slow start, the Robins are off and running with their first win - but York City have settled in well after promotion and will be hopeful of a repeat of their performance the last time BT Sport saw them in action back in August.

A week later, it’s a potentially crucial game in the race for promotion.

Chesterfield, who have led the way throughout September, welcome Solihull Moors and both clubs are in the thick of it at the top.

The big game at the Technique Stadium is on November 19, and kick-off is at 3pm.

There’s plenty more action to come in October, and it starts on Saturday as Boreham Wood welcome Maidstone United.

Then there’s a big all-Essex game as Dagenham & Redbridge open their doors to Southend United seven days later, kick-off 12.30pm.

October ends with Torquay United taking on Altrincham at Plainmoor, before FC Halifax Town host Oldham Athletic as the Latics hit the road with David Unsworth now in charge.

Upcoming live BT Sport matches - kick off times listed:
Saturday October 1 Boreham Wood vs Maidstone United (5.20pm)
Saturday October 8 Dagenham vs Southend United (12.30pm)
Saturday October 22 Torquay United vs Altrincham (5.20pm)
