Trio Of Lambs Depart For Pastures New

Tamworth have confirmed that Curtis Strong is no longer with the club, and will remain with Evo-Stik League Premier side Nantwich Town, who he recently joined on a dual registration agreement.

On the development, manager Andy Morrell told his club`s official website: "We have chosen to de-register Curt, as he informed us that he wished to continue playing for Nantwich. We wanted to call him back, but he wanted certain guarantees that we could not promise. We wish him all the best for the rest of the season."

The departure means that the Lambs` under-21's left-back Sam Aldhouse has signed first-team forms, and is available over the festive period if selected.

Meanwhile, scholarship and under-21 pair Fortune Maphosa and Junior Mpofu will get a taste of senior football for the next few weeks as they have registered with Midland League Division One outfit Heather St Johns.
