Tremendous Terry Is An Incredible Crusader!

Terry Wild has won Volunteer of the Month for Hungerford Town in the Vanarama National League South.

The 82-year-old has been a fan of the club for over 50 years, and has been a treasured volunteer and committee member for most of that time.

He rarely misses a game and afterwards, helps to clean up the ground; clearing the pitch of his biggest frustration – discarded tape from the players’ socks!

Before home games, he arrives early to put out parking cones for the visiting team’s coach and, if it’s raining, he will dry off seats in the stands so spectators don’t have to sit on wet ones.

He also takes personal responsibility to pay the match officials within minutes of the match ending and is a true hero with a dedication no Club can do without.
