Town Now Need To Turn It On At Home As Well

Simon Weaver knows his Harrogate side must lift it at home if they are to continue their title push.

Town have the best form on the road out of all the sides in the National League.

But at home it’s a different story. In their last three games at the CNG Stadium they have drawn 2-2 with Dover Athletic, 0-0 against Wrexham and went down 3-0 to Leyton Orient.

Weaver said last week that team bonding on long trips is helping them get results on their travels.

Now he wants Harrogate to do the business in front of their own fans after dropping points at Weatherby Road lately.

He said: “It was a really average performance on Saturday I thought.

“We made a number of uncharacteristic mistakes and it proved costly. Dover did well but we were below par.

“Our away form is great but we need to do more at home.”
