Table toppers Wealdstone know three points at home to second-place Bath City will put them in complete control of the destiny of the title.
But Dean Brennan’s side face the league’s current form side - the Romans have won five of their last six matches are are finding ways to win.
Brennan stopped short of saying the Stones will take some catching if they win but the Irishman’s team could go ten points clear should the day’s results go their way.
”There’s a long long way to go yet, a long way,” he said on the club’s YouTube service following their win at title rivals Havant.
“There’s still 17 games - there’s so much work still to do.
“Bath are up next who are in great form. There’s a lot of big games ahead, it’s about seeing where we are in April, not January.
“We have got a points total in mind. If we achieve that, we would have had a fantastic season.”
Bath boss Jerry Gill thinks both part-time teams are due credit.
“Wealdstone’s win at Havant will really get them going,” he said. “They have had a fantastic year.
“There are some big clubs up there in this division who get the luxury of training full-time.
“But we’re up there too - don’t write Bath City off anyone, we’re doing OK.
“This period is important, we know it’s going to be a very, very tough game but we’ll give it everything we’ve got that’s for sure.”
