Tony's Darts Have A Bad Day At The Office

Tony Burman knows Dartford can't afford many more off days like they had at Weston-super-Mare on Saturday.

The league leaders went down 3-0 to the Seagulls as they lost their place at the top of the table.

Burman was far from pleased with the display in Somerset and urged his players to make sure there is no repeat of what happened yesterday.

It was an afternoon to forget and the manager wants to draw a line under it - and quickly.

"We underperformed, there's no doubt about that," the Princes Park boss admitted.

"We looked disorganised and it was too easy for Weston in truth, we can't perform to those standards again. It was a bad day at the office.

"I don't know why but we looked leggy and there wasn't much to us. We couldn't get our game going.

"I think all three of Weston's goals were preventable. We didn't defend well, which is not something we usually do."

He added: "Too many players didn't perform and when you come away from home in this league you can't get away with being at that level.

"We need to put this to bed quickly by getting back on track."
