Tomlinson Loaned to Rovers

Forward Ben Tomlinson has joined Vanamara National League club Tranmere Rovers on a three-month loan from League Two side Barnet.

The 26-year-old, who can operate in both wide positions and up front, has played for Macclesfield Town, Lincoln City and had a loan spell with Grimsby Town earlier this season.

Manager Gary Brabin said: "Ben is someone I spoke to in the summer about signing so I'm delighted to finally get the chance to work with him.

"He has good experience in this league, can operate in both wide positions as well as up front and has an eye for goal.

"With Adam Mekki and Adam Dawson both unavailable, Ben will provide us with more options in the attacking areas and is a good addition to the squad."

Tomlinson is available to make his debut in tomorrow's home game against Dover Athletic.
