Third Time Lucky? Stringer Urges Fans To Make Plainmoor Trip

Rod Stringer is urging Chelmsford fans to be the 12th man for their game at Torquay United this evening.

The Clarets clash with the league leaders will be the third attempt to play the fixture after two previous postponements.

And with a potentially tough game ahead, Stringer knows his side need the fans' backing at Plainmoor.

"I feel for them," he told Clarets TV. "I feel for them probably more than anybody else.

"All I can say is that we will need you. We will want you to make the journey if you can.

"I do understand that it's been a bit of a nightmare with two games being called off where you've travelled for both of them.

"It could be third time lucky for us and the boys will need your support," he continued. "I should imagine that it will be a decent game and if you can get there, then fantastic.

"The boys will do everything they can to bring the 3 points back home."
