Third Blues Spell for Asante

Vanarama National League South club Bishop's Stortford have added to their attacking options with the return of Kyle Asante.

It will be the 25-year-old's third spell with the Blues having initially joined arrived at the ProKit UK Stadium in 2013.

Asante started his career as a youth at Southend United, before making eleven appearances for the club, making his League debut in 2011.

Asante re-joined the Blues in the summer of 2014 but after playing a full 90 minutes in a friendly at Brightlingsea Regent, he was injured a serious car crash on the A12 and suffered two punctured lungs and fractured ribs.

Since recovering, he has had spells with Maldon & Tiptree, Aveley, Cheshunt, Witham Town and VCD Athletic.
