There's A Big Tuesday Night Ahead In The National League

By Tom Scott

The FA Cup may have left town but there is still plenty of must-see action to look forward to in the National League.

Home specialists Eastleigh will be riding high after their last-gasp FA Cup goal on Saturday.

But the Spitfires have Wrexham to deal with at the Silverlake this evening - with Dean Keates' men looking for their first win since beating leaders Bromley last month.

Is it too early for talk of a six-pointer? The calendar might only just have flipped over to December but Hungerford Town know how crucial tonight's game could be in the survival race.

They entertain fellow strugglers Tonbridge Angels who have yet to taste victory on the road this season.

Further north - in the country and in table positions - Farsley Celtic welcome Brackley Town to the Citadel.

The Celts are the surprise package this season, Adam Lakeland will know the size of the prize if they can overcome one of the more seasoned play-off contenders.

York head to Hereford looking to regain their momentum after one win in three - the Minstermen also know a win would put them back on top.

Two of the leagues out-of-form sides meet at Aggborough - managerless Kidderminster Harriers are looking to bounce back after three straight defeats.

Gateshead are in town knowing a win could help them put pressure on the top seven, especially with their games in hand.

Leamington are on the march - that's Josh March. The explosive striker has netted four times in the Brakes' last three games.

Looking to stop him tonight will be Darlington who conceded five goals in their last away game and have taken just four points on their travels this season.
