There Can Be One Last Sting In The Cup Tale Say Barnet

Barnet know there won’t be too many people expecting them to upset the odds at Championship Brentford on Tuesday night.

But the Bees from north London says those in the west of the city shouldn’t rule out a final sting in this FA Cup tale.

Tonight’s fourth round replay came about after two fantastic fightbacks in front of the BT Sport cameras.

Neutrals may be expecting Brentford to finish the job on home turf - especially after thumping Blackburn Rovers on Saturday.

But the National League side won’t lie down and go there with more than just hope to hang on to.

Striker Shaq Coulthirst, who scored twice in the first game at the winner at Sheffield United, said: “Any side who doesn’t know when they are beaten has a chance.

“Look at what we have achieve so far. There’s no reason why we can’t go to Brentford and win it. We’ve got nothing to lose.”

His manager Darren Currie agrees, saying: “Can we do it? Of course we can. Why not?

“We can achieve anything with this group of players if they truly believe in themselves.

“We keep raising the bar against these teams and we’ve still got a chance of going there and doing it again.”
