The Rocks Hitman Higgins Confirms He's Staying Put

East Thurrock United have been boosted with the news National League South Golden Boot winner Sam Higgins has agreed to play for the club again next season.

The 26-goal striker took the top scorer trophy for the third time in four seasons.

The Rocks have announced Higgins is one of five to commit - and the club have meanwhile announced a number of exits.

Manager John Coventry revealed Lee Burns, Ben Marlow, Ryan Scott and Sammy Knott have put pen to paper.

But leaving East Thurrock are a number of experienced players, with ‪midfielder Max Cornhill‬ and goalkeeper ‪Lukas Lidakevicius‬ two high profile players making their exit.

‪Michael Clark‬, ‪Reece Harris‬, ‪Lewis Smith‬ and ‪Ryan Sammons won’t be signings new contracts.

James White‬ and ‪Montel Agyemang‬ have also been told they can find new clubs.
