The Play-Off Picture Is Now Complete

By Sam Elliott

It wasn’t just titles being won on Saturday afternoon - play-off places were secured and schedules completed.

In the National League we now know AFC Fylde will face Harrogate on Wednesday, an eliminator live on BT Sport.

Then 24 hours later it’s the turn of Wrexham to host the cameras - and of course Ben Strevens’ Eastleigh.

We already knew the play-off six but what about the other divisions?

In the National League South there was one space up for grabs and five teams chasing it - in the end it was Wealdstone, thanks to their win 2-1 victory over Hemel, who see their season extended. They now head to Bath City.

It’s hard luck St Albans, Dartford, Billericay and Slough who fell just short.

In the National League North, three teams were vying for two places.

Ultimately it was heartache for AFC Telford and a day of celebration for Blyth Spartans and Bradford (Park Avenue) on a dramastic final day.

Eliminator fixtures:

National League:
AFC Fylde v Harrogate (Wednesday May 1 - BT Sport)
Wrexham v Eastleigh (Thursday May 2 - BT Sport)

National League North:
Altrincham v Blyth Spartans (Wednesday May 1)
Spennymoor v Bradford PA (Wednesday May 1)
