It’s not the first time fans have got their trainers on to pound the streets to boost fundraising efforts.
They are already plotting the route via Torquay United for the March 23 match.
Clarets faithful Ally Whipps, Andy Abbott, Gavin Brewer, Will O'Donnell, Richard Macey, Phil Watts, Mark Heginbotham, Richie Bethell, Alan Jones and Jon Read have all vowed to do the walk.
The club’s official website say it’s to raise money for local charity Cool to be Kind, City of Chelmsford MENCAP and the the National League South side’s own community scheme.
They are giving themselves a week to complete the epic 270-mile trip from Essex to Cornwall.
The fans will travel through London, Surrey, Hampshire and the West Country before getting to see the game.
It could well be a big match if current form continues.
