The Dragons are in the FA Cup Second Round and currently sit top of the National League table.
They travel to Maidstone United on Saturday and then have tough games against Leyton Orient and Barrow.
And for Ricketts, it's the league games that take over his priorities for now.
“The FA Cup will be great when we get round to it, but we’ve got three league games now which are far more important than that,” he told the Daily Post.
"We need to make sure we are as prepared and focused as we have done all season to try and maintain this start.
“There is no point getting distracted by the FA Cup. It is a good thing and means that the club is doing well and that we are progressing through the rounds and it is another tie people are interested in.
"But ultimately we are here to try and get out of this league and with that there are three massive league games.”
