The Chips Aren't Down For Town With Safety In Sight

Chippenham Town boss Mark Collier has admitted he doesn’t care how boring his side are - as long as they keep picking up points!

The Bluebirds beat play-off chasing Weston-super-Mare on Saturday - their second successive victory - to move seven points clear of the bottom three.

Collier’s men host fourth-bottom Concord Rangers on Tuesday night and the boss knows points are all that matter at this stage of the season.

He told Blue Army Television: “It was a very good day for us on Saturday. To score two goals and keep a clean sheet - we’re pleased with that.

“Points are vital in this League whether it be the first game of the season or the last - we need points on the board.

“We’ve come a long way in the last month. We’ve picked up some decent results and are in some good form.

“We’re pleased with that but we go again on Tuesday against Concord. Our attitude has to be right and we’ll look for three more points. It’s all about winning at this stage, I don’t care how boring we look!”
