The Bucks Are Not Bruised By Their Weekend Collapse

The spirit in the AFC Telford United camp is still high, manager Rob Edwards has stressed.

Their draw at Tamworth last week felt like a defeat, throwing away a 2-0 lead late on to leave the Lamb with just a point to show for their efforts.

The Bucks remain third from bottom and four points from safety and they have a big game against FC United of Manchester on Saturday.

Although frustrated by the dropped points, the former Wolves player knows there are going to be plenty of twists and turns to come.

Edwards told the Shropshire Star: “The lads have trained well, they’ve all been working really hard.

“The mood is fine here. They were disappointed to concede late in the game on Saturday, but they’ve been great as always.

“I’ve been delighted with their attitude and a lot of their performances. We just need results to follow suit now.”

Where next?

Something For The Weekend: National League North With Brackley Town, Stockport County and Spennymoor Town all involved in Saturday's Buildbase FA Trophy Quarter-Finals, it's a reduced fixture list for the Vanarama National League North this weekend.
HISTORY CORNER: Conference Winners 1988 – Lincoln City There was a throw-away comment made by Colin Murphy after he had guided his Lincoln City side back to the Football League at the first attempt at the end of the 1987/88 that seems rather apt now – 30 years later.
