Shaun Pearson (Wrexham)
Credited by many Red Dragons fans as the inspiration behind their best season for many years. Defines ‘leads by example’.
Dean Wells (Boreham Wood)
Fantastic at this level, Wood’s signings of the Stevenage centre-half went under the radar in the close season. A big past of their great current run.
Ben Williamson (Eastleigh)
The Spitfires are struggling by their summer addition for Cambridge United certainly hasn’t. He’s got nine goals for a side near the bottom.
Joe Ward (Woking)
The Cards’ great creator also has six goals to his name. Operating well out wide for Anthony Limbrick‘ side.
Macauley Bonne (Leyton Orient)
What a signing this has proved to be - don’t ask any Leyton Orient fan where they would be without his goals.
Luke Coulson (Ebbsfleet)
He’s found a new lease of life and is looking like the players Eastleigh said two years ago that they wouldn’t accept a £1m bid for!
Femi Ilesanmi (Dover Athletic)
A really sensible capture from Boreham Wood by Chris Kinnear after Dover were forced into yet another big summer reshuffle. The defender has been near faultless.
Elliott Durrell (Macclesfield)
His talents are befitting of a player who should be at the top end of the table. Some fantastic goals and cute passes has seen him start brilliantly at Moss Rose.
Josh Rees (Bromley)
Goals from midfield not the only string to his bow, but six from the middle of the park does help a player settle in. A good passer too and knows how to tackle.
Kenny Davis (Sutton United)
The cabbie is the driving force of whatever team he plays in. Sutton’s strong first four months can, in part, be traced back to their excellent acquisition from Boreham Wood.
