The Bank Holiday Monday Programme Hit By The Weather

A number have matches have been postponed this morning across the National League.

It was frustration all around at Brisbane Road as Leyton Orient v Maidenhead United was washed out with the players in the dressing room

Tranmere Rovers are having no luck over Easter - today their game with Solihull Moors was the first to fall.

As has FC Halifax Town’s home game with Gateshead which failed an 8.30am pitch inspection.

At 10am, Barrow’s home game with AFC Fylde due to standing water on the pitch. The clubs have agreed to try again on Tuesday.

In the National League North we have already lost a number of games.

Southport’s home game against league leaders Salford City couldn’t beat the overnight puddles on the pitch.

In-form Stockport County couldn't make it five in a row - their game with Tamworth fell foul of the conditions.

AFC Telford United's game with Leamington couldn't go ahead - despite the best efforts of early morning volunteers.

FC United v York City at Broadhurst Park was expecting a big crowd but won’t go ahead thanks to a waterlogged pitch.

It’s the same problem at Spennymoor where a local derby with Darlington was anticipated. That will now require a new date.

No luck for North Ferriby either, and heavy rain means they won't be able to welcome Gainsborough Trinity.

Curzon Ashton’s home game with Alfreton Town couldn’t get past the referee - he said game off at 9.45am.

There is also no play at Nuneaton who were due to face Boston United.

In the National League South, there will be no play between Weston-super-Mare and Truro City after an early decision was made in Somerset.

Hemel Hempstead Town v Wealdstone was also called off just after midday.
