Terras Boss Has Big Picks To Make After Perky League Start

Weymouth's players are giving boss Mark Molesley a constant headache - but he wouldn't have it any other way.

The Terras might have been dreading August with arguably the toughest start of anyone in the National League South.

But after putting the likes of Maidstone, Chelmsford and Dartford to the sword in recent weeks, they sit second.

It's all making for a happy camp but manager Mark Molesley is having sleepless nights about who he picks over the coming Bank Holiday double-header with Chippenham and Wealdstone.

"It’s been such a tough start, mentally and physically," he told the club's website. "The attitude and the application has been spot on.

"I’ve got to applaud the boys for the way they’ve started not just the season but pre-season," he added.

“They’ve been a fantastic group to work with and competition for places is fierce - it’s making a really tough job for me."

Tough indeed. But you'd be wrong to think Molesley is unhappy about the situation.

He said: “I’m making some really tough decisions at the moment because everyone deserves to be playing.

"That’s what you want as a manager. As long as they keep their attitude and application we’re going to need each and every one of them."
