Teammates: Cam Mason - Curzon Ashton

The Nash are currently just two points off the play-off places with Mason the first choice keeper and now he's been giving us an insight about the group, writes Tom Feaheny.

The team DJ?

The DJ is in our group has to be Chris Rowney! He's decent at being one as well! If he isn't around Marshy takes the role!

First to training?

It is always changing! Not really one set person who’s there first, can be different players at different times.

Last to training?

There’s a few who have picked up a few late fines this year already, but we won’t complain as it all goes in the pot for the team night out!

Biggest eater?

That's a difficult one this because all you normal see is the lads pre-match and post match when there eating, I’d have to say Jack, he’s a coach not a player but he loves his food! Was his idea for a team Indian meal, and he knew the best places so I’ll have to say him!

Teacher's pet?

Again another difficult one I wouldn’t say there was anyone who acts like that towards to coaching staff, I think it’s because we all get along so well there’s no need to act like that!

Worst car?

I’m probably up there because most have the lads have new cars and I have a 2012 Corsa! But I think Oli Thornley’s car just comes below me! What does it matter as long as it gets you A to B! Hard to get cheap insurance for people like me and Oli these days to!

Hard man in the team?

There’s a few tough lads in our group, but I’m gonna have to say Ste Howson.. He’s a top lad but when he crosses that white line he’s a scary guy, who you wouldn’t wanna be in a battle with!

Most likely to go into management?

There’s a few i think likes of Niall Cummins, Danny Shaw, Ste Howson, they could go on to manage, there a few lads who have got there coaching badges as well! But then 3 I think for the role as a gaffa

Joker in the group?

With it being a tight group I think the banter is always flowing but Jono Hunt for me is the funniest, always has people laughing

Most intelligent?

That would have to be Niall he’s a teacher so he’s got to be up there! Luke Clarke as well he’s a smart lad!

Least intelligent?

I will have to say Jordon Latham! Our other goalkeeper, don’t know what day it is half the time! Great lad! Good keeper to! Just no common sense, I guess that’s like all us GKs.
