The goals were flying in… 33 in the 11 matches with no fewer than five forwards scoring two or more goals.
Eastleigh’s Paul McCallum and Macclesfield’s striker Scott Wilson took home the match-ball - but we’ve resisted the temptation to to go with five up front!
It was an absorbing weekend of action with some high scoring matches, shock results and crucial wins.
Our squad of 16 has been carefully picked with the help of reporters, managers and club officials all chipping in.

Goalkeeper: Carl Pentney (Maidenhead)
It was a shoot-out between the Maidenhead and the Maidstone keeper for the Team of the Weekend - Pentney gets the nod after a string of impressive saves.
Defender: Mark Ricketts (Boreham Wood)
Wood’s wonderful unbeaten league now stands at 11 matches. Ricketts’ gave a captain’s performance against AFC Fylde.
Defender: Scott McManus (FC Halifax)
Halifax have so few players fit they have hardly trained. McManus’ winner and his display in defence means he’s a shoe-in.
Defender: Ryan Astles (Chester)
If Marcus Bignot’s team are to stay up, Astles’ form will be key to it. He kept Solihull Moors at bay with an outstanding performance.
Defender: Chris Bush (Ebbsfleet)
There were a lot of great performances from Ebbsfleet players as they strolled past Guiseley but full-back Bush was as strong as anyone.
Midfield: Scott Burgess (Macclesfield)
His team-mate and namesake Scott Wilson’s display shouldn’t take the spotlight off Burgess, who was equally as impressive in the Macc midfield
Midfield: Alex Lawless (Leyton Orient)
Orient gave their best display of the season and Lawless was the O’s heartbeat. He didn’t miss a trick for Justin Edinburgh.
Midfield: Corey Whiteley (Dagenham)
As so often this season, John Still’s attacker has been their go-to man. The Daggers’ win at Barrow could prove crucial.
Striker: Mitch Pinnock (Dover)
Two goals and star man, Pinnock impressed as Chris Kinnear’s team stormed back into form by brushing aside Hartlepool 4-0.
Striker: Scott Wilson (Macclesfield Town)
If you’re going to play as well as that, you may as well do it live on TV. Hat-trick hero Wilson was unplayable against Wrexham.
Striker: Paul McCallum (Eastleigh)
Another three-goal star - the only frustrated for McCallum would have been the Spitfires’ failure to defeat Bromley.
Substitutes:
Conor Oliver (FC Halifax)
Jobi McAnuff (Leyton Orient)
Conor Jennings (Tranmere)
Louis Dennis (Bromley)
Andy Cook (Tranmere)
