Tame Tigers Leave Todd Demanding More Spirit

Gloucester City manager Chris Todd said his side were left wanting as they crashed out of the FA Trophy at the hands of Biggleswade Town.

It leaves Todd still searching for his first win in charge of the Tigers but the manager admitted his side didn't deserve anything from the game.

"I'm really disappointed as you can imagine," he told the club's official video service. "It's the first time in my reign that we lacked a lot of spirit and effort and it's unacceptable.

"We haven't won a game of football since the start of September so we have to find a way to win a game of football.

"I will be working extremely hard as I always do and so will my players because they need to know it's unacceptable to perform like that today when you've got the badge of Gloucester City on.

"But they're good lads and we've had a conversation after and they know that's not acceptable.

"Today we didn't deserve anything from the game so we have to lick our wounds, stick together and dig deep for that win."
