The U's, of course, reached the fifth round last season and hosted Premier League giants Arsenal at Gander Green Lane.
Now they're back in the cup and will be hoping to upset Cambridge United, of League Two, at the Abbey Stadium
The two have never met before in the FA Cup and Doswell is hoping that, without any expectations, his side can produce a shock.
"The FA Cup gives you two weeks off what is the pressure of the league, the pressure the club, the players and the staff want to put on ourselves," he told the club's website. "Now it's a different situation, it's an enjoyable game to prepare for.
"We'll be training Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday because it's on Sunday. It's a free bet for us because ultimately the FA Cup last year probably affected where we were in the league.
"For me, this year, if we went out on Sunday, it wouldn't be the end of the world because it means we can concentrate very much on the league and the Trophy. We're not going to win the FA Cup and I think financially last year we did well enough as well.
"We'll go there with our game plan and really analyse what we can do and be the best we can. It's a game where everyone should look forward to. Cambridge will be expected to win. Their home form has been excellent but we know that we've got enough in this team to compete.
"I'm hoping to see 400 to 500 hundred Sutton fans there. Can we get as many Amber up there as we can because we're going to need that help."
