Sutton Bring In Loan Duo

Midfielder Tom Bolarinwa has re-joined Sutton United on loan from SkyBet League Two side Grimsby Town until January 27th.

Bolarinwa (pictured signing for Grimsby) signed for the Mariners on a three-year deal during the summer of 2016 from Sutton.

The winger began his career at Barnet coming through the youth system.

He originally joined Sutton United from Cray Wanderers, having spent time at the likes of Croydon Athletic, Kingstonian and Wycombe Wanderers previously.

He has also spent three years playing in the Thai Premier League for Suphanburi, Bangkok, Nonthaburi, Nakhon Nayok and Udon Thani.

He has made thirty-three appearances and scored 2 goals for the Mariners since moving to Blundell Park.

Also joining Sutton on loan for the same period is AFC Wimbledon midfielder Alfie Egan, who was 20 earlier this season.

Egan joined Wimbledon as a 15-year-old and came to prominence during the Dons’ FA Youth Cup run in 2016 before making his senior debut last season.

Sutton boss Paul Doswell told his club`s website: “I’m delighted with both signings – Alfie is a player we were watching last season, while when I knew there was a chance of getting Tom back it was an easy decision. With Craig Eastmond, Nicky Bailey and Simon Walton all injured it gives us good cover in the squad for the next three months”.
