Styche Set To Leave Alfreton As Disley Exit Is Confirmed

Alfreton Town have announced striker Reece Styche wis expected to leave the club - and former Grimsby captain Craig Disley is leaving.

The National League North side, who signed the forward from Darlington, has been made available for transfer.

They say they are “deep into concluding negotiations for his fee” and a move looks near.

Manager Billy Heath has confirmed David Lynch, Morgan Brough, Kieron Hinchley and Harvey Grice have all been retained by the Reds,

Players who have signed new deals for next year include Bobby Johnson, Declan Bacon, Josh Wilde and Danny Clarke.

Alfreton said Luke Shiels, Tom Platt, Nathan Hotte, Martin Riley and Richard Peniket were all offered terms but decided to play their football elsewhere.

Experienced midfielder Disley has been released along with James Clifton, Callum Chettle and Sam Ramsbottom, the club have announced.

Alfreton ended last season in 15th place and better is hoped for next time around.
