Stringer - whose assistant Kevin Watson also extends his deal - took over from Danny Bloor at the end of January with the club mired in relegation trouble.
It's been a whirlwind since then with just two defeats in his 13 Vanarama National League South games in charge.
In a run that stretches back more than three months, Wings fans haven't seen their side lose on home turf since a 1-0 defeat to Dartford on Boxing Day.
Now eight points from safety, a win on Saturday against Torquay United could see them confirm their place at Step 2 next season - something that excites former Chelmsford boss Stringer.
"We came in with the club in a precarious position and with the task to keep them in this division," he said.
"We’re really pleased with how these last few months have gone and, although the job isn’t done yet, we’re confident that we’ve got ourselves in a really good position with four games left and will, hopefully, be able to look forward to another season of National League South football.
"We’re looking forward to continuing this journey. We want to finish as high as we can and then we’ll start building for the new season."
