Striking Double for Dover

Vanarama National League play-off chasers Dover Athletic have announced a double signing.

Torquay United`s top scorer Tyrone Marsh joins on an eighteen-month deal, whilst fellow striker Harry Crawford has also agreed terms with the club after leaving National League South side St Albans City.

Twenty-two-year-old Marsh, who stands at 5'11”, joined Oxford United at the age of 14, having previously played at youth level for MK Dons and Luton Town.

United sent him out on loan to Aylesbury United, Staines Town and Welling United, and also made his professional debut for Oxford in 2012.

He ended up making fourteen first-team appearances for the League Two side.

In December 2014, Marsh signed for Ebbsfleet United but moved to Torquay in June 2015, signing a one-year deal.

This season, Marsh has scored 7 goals in eighteen appearances.

Fellow striker Harry Crawford, who spent time at the club on loan back in 2010, has been playing for St Albans after a spell at Boreham Wood, and Dover fans have already seen what Crawford, 24, can do this season - he scored against Whites for Boreham Wood in their 2-1 defeat in the league clash at Crabble in August.

Now the former Southend United, Dartford and Barnet man is looking forward to getting out there and doing his business in a Dover shirt.
