Striker Extends Loan Shay Stay

Tranmere Rovers striker George Waring has extended his loan spell with league rivals FC Halifax Town until January 6th.

Twenty-two-year-old Waring, who was limited to three appearances for Rovers after arriving at Prenton Park in the summer following his release by Premier League outfit Stoke City, has been on loan with The Shaymen since the middle of October.

In that period, Waring has made four appearances and scored on his debut against Torquay United.
