Strevens And The Spitfires Need Some Home Help

Ben Strevens wants Eastleigh to start showing their home fans that they’re the real deal.

The Spitfires have won five games back-to-back on their travels - but their Silverlake Stadium form is what’s holding them back.

Although they aren’t losing, the last four home matches have ended in disappointing draws.

Strevens knows that if Eastleigh can start getting it right in Hampshire then the play-offs are a realistic goal.

They drew 2-2 with struggling Dover on Saturday afternoon. Watch match highlights here.

and the new manager said: “I can’t put my finger on why we’re doing really well away but at home we’re not getting the wins we want.

“It’s frustrating of course for everyone, but the good thing is that we’re not losing games.

“On Saturday we didn’t play well but we still managed to take something from the match which is a positive sign.”

They look to make it six wins from six away from home at Wrexham on Saturday.
