Strap Yourself In For A Real Box Office Blockbuster!

Nothing to see here, folks. Just two teams, 100 points and both of them going at it on Monday for one precious automatic place with the world watching.

Even if you aren't exactly spellbound by the Hollywood story, you surely can’t fail to be gripped by this one.

In a title race for the ages, the reverberations of this seismic collision can be truly felt on all four corners.

Simply put, it’s the game they are all talking about.

Notts County returned to the top of the table after FC Halifax’s incredible comeback on Friday. Dragons won’t want to hear it, but their agonising defeat at the Shay set this up absolutely perfectly.

One thing on Wrexham’s side, of course, is their home form.

In any competition since the end of last season, only Woking and Sheffield United have left undefeated. Even the Premier League chasers couldn’t beat them.

But Notts - whose head coach seemed to concede title defeat two weeks ago - just will not let it go. If they can take their unbeaten record, then it becomes theirs to lose.

Oh, and don’t forget the juicy Paul Mullin vs Macaulay Langstaff subplot.

Pull up a seat and strap yourself in, this is going to be some ride on BT Sport.

"How exciting is it to see big players, players that have incredible form, with Hollywood owners and a famous club - an incredible club - in Notts County?" Magpies head coach Williams told the BBC.

"There is a lot of very good ingredients for a great story and for great theatre. I think we are very fortunate to be involved in the production of this. We have to enjoy it.

"Of course we have a determination and desire to win, but ultimately football is about people being able to experience emotions and experience drama, and it's all there."

Wrexham have a game in hand but know defeat puts the ball back in County’s court.

Manager Phil Parkinson says it’s not a nightmare game for the club to try and put the Halifax horror show behind them - in fact, it’s quite the opposite.

He said: “We’ve got a terrific game on Monday to bounce back. They’ll be lifted by this result as we were when they lost to Dagenham (back in February).

“We’ve come a long way on this run we’ve had, unbeaten and a great points return per game. Today is a bad day but let’s see what we’re all about on Monday.

“It hurts when you lose but management and players have to pick themselves up quickly and we will do that on Monday.”

Live BT Sport coverage begins at 2.30pm on Easter Monday
