Stones Youngster Sent Out On Loan To Boro

Joining Eastbourne Borough from National League side Maidstone United on an initial month`s loan comes exciting young wide player Harley Willard.

A product of Southampton's renowned academy, Willard is 19 - actually 20 on Monday the 4th - and he goes straight into the Borough squad to face Chippenham Town on Saturday.

"I am absolutely delighted to land Harley," commented manager Jamie Howell. "He comes highly rated and will add pace and options to our squad. It has been clear that we are a little bit light on numbers, but when the right player of the right quality comes available, we are quick to act. I am grateful to Jay Saunders at Maidstone United, and of course to the Board for their support in allowing me to bring Harley in."

Football chairman John Bonar added: "This is excellent news for all concerned. Maidstone United at this stage want Harley to get some quality time on the pitch, and he is a great fit with Jamie's needs and plans. We can discuss any possible extensions in due course, but for the meantime I am sure supporters will join me in welcoming back another Willard to the Lane!"
