Stones on a Roll under new Boss Brennan

It didn’t exactly begin the way he wanted it to. Dean Brennan found out when he took over at Wealdstone that he would need to work with a smaller squad than the club had last season.

Then, a few days later, came the news that one of his strikers was out of pre-season - because he was going on Love Island!

Fast forward a few months and the Stones fans are already falling for their new manager.

Not only are the club top of the National League South, but a 21-goal August means they are the top scorers currently in all of English football.

It’s been a brilliant first month which had the Irishman oversee fantastic wins over Dartford, Braintree Town, Chippenham Town, Hemel Hempstead Town, Hungerford Town, Weymouth and Maidstone United.

Now Stones fans are asking if their side have the staying power - and if this is relationship material, or just a honeymoon period.
