Stones Know What's Required As They Look To Bounce Back

Maidstone United need players with the enthusiasm to take the club back into the National League.

That is according to head coach Hakan Hayrettin, whose club have just signed their third player of the summer.

Midfielder Clovis Kamdjo is joining the Stones - and he is just the type of player needed, says John Still’s right-hand man.

Defender Lewis Knight and attacker Ibrahim Olutade are also on board at the Gallagher Stadium as the Kent club look to do their business early.

Jack Richards and Ollie Muldoon have meanwhile departed and there is sure to be more comings and goings over the next few weeks.

Hayrettin thinks it’s important that the right people are coming through the door.

“What the club really needs is players with energy, players with enthusiasm and players who can give the club a big lift,” he said.

“We know how hard we’re going to need to work next season if we want to be successful.

“It’s about making pieces fit and so far we’re happy with the business we have managed to do.”
